Agfa Graphics and Canon join forces in UK digital press distribution deal
Agfa Graphics announced today a partnership to distribute Canon's imagePRESS digital colour presses to its traditional print customers in the UK from February 2009, enabling both companies to be more customer focused by offering a range of services to both traditional and digital printing houses.

Agfa Graphics Receives Environmental Printing Award
Agfa Graphics today announced that its GreenWorks™ program received an Environmental Printing Award for Most Environmentally Progressive Product or Service at the fourth annual Environmental Printing Awards Gala. The Environmental Printing Awards are sponsored by PrintAction (Youngblood Publishing Ltd), a graphic communications trade publication in Canada. The award program recognizes and honors print-service providers, graphic communications companies and manufacturers that integrate, support and promote environmentally sound practices. Gilmore Printing, an Agfa GreenWorks™ designated printer also won an Environmental Printing Award for Most Environmentally Progressive Printer in Canada, 50-100 Employees.
