Palmer College of Chiropractic acquires Agfa HealthCare Computed Radiology systems

Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, announces today that Palmer College of Chiropractic has acquired six Agfa HealthCare Computed Radiology solutions. The purchase, made through local Quantum dealer R-Five Inc., includes four CR 35-X systems and two CR 30-X systems, which are being installed at all of Palmer’s imaging facilities within their outpatient clinic centers in Davenport, Iowa; Port Orange, Florida; and San Jose, California. Palmer began using the new Agfa HealthCare solutions in its new Academic Health Center in July and expects the entire installation project to be complete by October 1, 2007. Agfa HealthCare’s CR 30-X and CR 35-X systems will be used both for teaching Palmer’s students the latest radiology examination methods as well as for patient care. All facilities combined perform approximately 1,000 examinations each month.
