Agfa HealthCare finalizes implementation of fully integrated cardiology suite at Belgian Hospital
Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, announces today that it has completed the installation of its IMPAX™ Cardiovascular Suite at the AZ Imelda hospital in Bonheiden, Belgium. The enterprise-wide, feature-rich cardiology information management system and reporting solution allows physicians to view both cardiology and radiology images and reports, enhancing diagnostic confidence. Agfa HealthCare’s solution enables AZ Imelda to integrate all of the patient information on two cardiology image management servers that are fully integrated with the hospital’s main archive, IMPAX PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System).

Rangauklinik Ansbach introduces Agfa HealthCare's ORBIS™ in Rehab Center
Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, announces today it is currently introducing its ORBIS™ Hospital Information System (HIS) in the Rangauklinik Ansbach, near Nuremberg, in southern Germany. ORBIS will be used in the clinic's Medical Rehabilitation Center, which provides 64 beds for rehab patients and 90 for acute cases. The Rangauklinik, which is part of the Neuendettelsau Deaconry, is the third facility of the hospital group to introduce ORBIS. The Hospital Information System will help to further integrate the different hospitals in the organization.

Agfa HealthCare signs multi-million dollar five-year radiology informatics agreement with Adventist Health System
Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, announces today that it has inked a second, five-year agreement to provide Enterprise PACS technology for the entire Florida Division of Adventist Health System (Orlando, Florida, US). The new 35 million dollar [1], five-year agreement covers all 17 Adventist Health hospitals in the Florida Division, as well as its seven associated Outpatient Centers and the centralized Data Center. By upgrading to Agfa HealthCare’s latest PACS technology, the Florida Division of Adventist Health will further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of distributing diagnostic information and images to its member hospitals and its physicians.

Salzburger Landeskliniken (SALK) migrates 600,000 patient data files and 1,500 cases to ORBIS™
Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, announces today that it has successfully installed its ORBIS™ Hospital Information System (HIS) together with its Picture Archiving and Communications system (PACS) IMPAX™ in the Salzburger Landeskliniken (SALK) in Austria. ORBIS is now operational after 18 months of preparation and serves 350 organizational units within the facility, including hospital wards, outpatient units, operating theaters, and specialist departments. In total 600,000 patient records and findings have been successfully and securely migrated to the new solution. The Salzburger Landeskliniken is the main hospital group in the Salzburg region, counting over half a million ambulatory visits each year, and employing 4,900 staff members.
